Endowment Campaign
THE PASADENA SYMPHONY
75TH ANNIVERSARY ENDOWMENT CAMPAIGN
CLASSICAL MUSIC FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
CAMPAIGN PURPOSE
For more than seventy years, The Pasadena Symphony has been at the forefront of the arts in Southern California, in both music and education. Its rich history includes examples of musical achievement and artistic excellence, as well as a genuine commitment to serving its surrounding communities. The challenge the Symphony faces today is securing its continued success for this and future generations.
The Classical Music for Future Generations endowment campaign has been launched by the Board of Directors to raise critical financial resources. Its success will assure that future generations of our community can continue to enjoy the fine orchestral music and the excellent education programs, which are the hallmark of The Pasadena Symphony. The goal of the campaign is to raise $7,500,000, increasing the Symphony's endowment to $12,500,000. The Symphony hopes to complete the campaign in time for its seventy-fifth anniversary celebration in June 2003.
Through the Classical Music for Future Generations campaign, The Pasadena Symphony will build an endowment fund large enough to help bridge the gap between concert expenses and revenues. At the end of the campaign, the Symphony anticipates that interest from the endowment fund will contribute significantly to the Symphony's operating revenue, allowing the Symphony to depend less upon donations from the private sector.
We welcome your interest and support of The Pasadena Symphony and earnestly hope you will join others in our community who are dedicated to the long-term success of our organization. For more information, or to make a gift, please contact:
